(purchased from the band boosters) shorts.

being at least mid-thigh
in length.
Color guard practice uniforms will be determined by the guard staff.
What happens at band camp?
In the afternoon block, students work indoors on learning the show music, school songs, and stands tunes. New students and those who have outgrown their marching shoes will be asked to give their shoe size for ordering and will need to pay for marching shoes by the end of band camp.
Dinner is served each evening around 4:30-5:00. Help from parents is always needed for this. We usually get donations from area restaurants and businesses. If you know of any place we could get donations for 100, please contact Meredith Yacavone. We need paper plates, cups, plastic eating utensils, donations of individually packed snacks for the kids both salty and sweet and gallons and gallons of bottled water. Any other donations you can think of will be greatly appreciated.
After dinner, the groups usually work outside on marching and drill--weather permitting.
Insurance explained!
Pinellas County Schools considers Marching Band the same as any athletic team. This means each student is required to have the school board insurance. All insurance is obtained online via credit card or check after July 1, 2008.
For Band Camp: No student can be allowed to participate without school insurance and a completed physical.
For the 08/09 Season: All students may obtain the
required coverage for marching season anytime
